Reasons for joining: I have always loved running and especially competing but stopped after having William. I was persuaded by Eddie to make a comeback… best decision I ever made!!

Favourite Distance: 400m/800m

Favourite Race/Meet: For me any track and field meeting, my favourite for atmosphere are all the road relay events.

Sporting Hero (Not athletics): My Dad (He was my hero taught me so many sports)

Best Race/Performance: English Schools Championships at Blackpool in 1993.

Proudest Moment/Memory: The above English Schools race was as I took a surprise third place only a week after my lovely Dad passed away.

Target For Next 12 Months: **Competing in the World Firefighter games in Denmark. Taking the Sunderland Harriers name alongside Tyne & Wear Fire rescue service to such a huge international event gives me huge aims and ambition.

**The above event has now been cancelled but Vic still aims to compete internationally representing both Sunderland Harriers and Tyne & Wear Fire & rescue service when the time comes!!
