Thursday 12th July will see the North of England's premier road race take place at our very own Silksworth Sports complex. The North's best Male, Female and age group athletes will be competing over the two lap Silksworth course in two races.

Individual North Eastern, Northern and Northern team titles will be up for grabs and the host club will be looking to be in the medals in both the male and female team championship as they were last year.
However, this event is not just for those going for Northern glory; it is for all those looking for individual glory and is a well-known pb course.

This leading race is one of the best value races in the country at half, if not a quarter of the price of entry to most road races at just £7 for club runners and £9 for unattached runners. All fully paid members of Sunderland Harriers are entitled to free entry but you must ensure you complete an entry form; these will be available at the our Silksworth training base from Tuesday.

All that is left to do is get out training!
