Sunderland Harriers host their club cross country championships at Farringdon on Saturday 21st October at 10am. The event is open to all club members and will be over 1.8mi, one complete circuit of the testing Farringdon course.

The aim of the event is to showcase the joy of cross country to all our members young and old and for that reason all members 11 years plus are invited to compete, starting at 10.15am.

There is a separate race of about 1km for the U11s which will mark the start of the championships at 10.00am

The event will be a great taster event for the Sherman cup the following week or a great workout for the more experienced cross country runner.

All athletes under 17 enter free of charge all other members will be charged £2 to compete. Please speak to any member of the committee for further details or to confirm your entry.

All athletes are encouraged to enter prior to the day to allow the event to run on time and smoothly.
